Tossed BBQ Fries

This delicious snack can be made using our Thick Cut Chips or Straight Cut Fries.

  • 1/2 cup paprikar
  • 1/3 cup cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 tablespoon fine sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 500 grams Sympli Straight Cut Fries
  1. Combine all the spices in a bowl or jar

  2. Deep fry Sympli Straight Cut Fries at 180 °C (356 °F) for 3.5 mins, or oil brush and bake at 225 °C (437 °F) for 8 minutes.

  3. Remove and strain for 2 minutes, then put into a bowl.

  4. Sprinkle about ¼ cup of the BBQ seasoning
    over the yam fries, or to taste

  5. Toss so yam is coated with the seasoning.

  6. Serve with some chicken wings and sauce.
